Rajiv Desai is a stalwart of India’s customs brokerage and logistics industry, with a career spanning over four decades. A Chartered Accountant by qualification, he has been at the forefront of the profession since the early years of his career, combining financial rigour with an unmatched depth of practical customs expertise.

His standing in the industry is reflected in the leadership roles he has held. He served as Vice President of the Brihanmumbai Custom Brokers Association and the Federation of Freight Forwarders’ Associations in India. He continues to serve as an Advisor to the BCBA, remaining closely engaged with policy and regulatory developments shaping the trade.

At Dawn India, Rajiv is at the helm of overall operations, bringing together experience, credibility and relationships developed over more than four decades. His understanding of customs law, valuation and regulatory processes remains central to Dawn India’s reputation for dependable and compliance-first service.

Parth Desai has spent over 13 years building his expertise at the intersection of trade, compliance and logistics. With a CA qualification and an MBA from the Indian School of Business, he leads Dawn India with a simple belief: great logistics is not only about moving cargo; it is about giving businesses the confidence to trade without friction.

Under his leadership, Dawn India has grown from a customs brokerage practice into a full-stack logistics partner, with capabilities spanning bonded and temperature-controlled warehousing, freight management, regulatory labelling and Dawn India One, the company’s proprietary visibility platform.

Parth has been personally involved in establishing large-scale warehousing infrastructure, strengthening relationships with some of India’s most compliance-intensive customers and developing Dawn India’s global network of freight and logistics partners.

Apurva Trivedi

Apurva leads Dawn India’s operational strategy with a focus on operational excellence, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

With over a decade of experience in logistics and supply chain management, Apurva specialises in warehousing, value-added services, process optimisation and operational strategy. He oversees warehousing operations and leads VAS activities processing more than 40 million product units annually for leading multinational companies across consumer goods, pharmaceuticals and medical devices.

Apurva holds a Bachelor’s degree from H.R. College of Commerce & Economics, Mumbai, and has completed an Executive Certificate Programme in Warehouse Design and Management from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.

He is passionate about building high-performing teams, driving continuous improvement and delivering scalable, customer-focused logistics solutions.

At Dawn India, Parimal is the driving force behind the seamless execution of the complete import lifecycle. Highly regarded for his practical expertise and comprehensive understanding of customs frameworks, he serves as a key point of contact for operational continuity.

His ability to manage high-stakes procedural execution and support frictionless cargo movement has established him as a core pillar of Dawn India’s day-to-day operational excellence.
